How to get dried blood out of your nose after rhinoplasty?
Cleaning after rhinoplasty is an important procedure that should be careful during the healing process. A number of steps should be followed for cleaning the nose after rhinoplasty:

- In the first 10 days after rhinoplasty, nose cleaning should never be done by blowing the nose, even slightly.
- Use the special sprays or saline solution I recommend for nose cleaning.
- It is important to soften the crusted hardened layers before cleaning. Crusts will also prevent you from breathing comfortably after surgery. For this reason, start cleaning by softening these hardened layers with the ointments or sprays I recommend for you.
- Do a nasal wash. Sterile saline solution is used for this. This gently cleans the mucus and crust structures in the nose. To clean the nose with a nasal wash, you can use a nasal washing device, spray, nasal aspirator. Nasal aspirator provides convenience while cleaning the mucous layer and other secretions in the nose.
- Dryness in the nose after nose surgery is a condition we accept as normal. But this dryness is uncomfortable. It causes problems in nose cleaning. Washing the nose in the morning and evening allows you to get effective results in the fight against dryness.
- Do not apply too much force when cleaning the inside of the nose. Nasal tissues are sensitive in the period immediately after nose surgery. Excessive pressure, friction can cause irritation (local irritations). It is very important to be careful when using any tool to relieve nasal congestion and clean the snot to avoid damaging the operated tissue.
- Blowing the nose by squeezing the nose after nose surgery should never be done.
- If there is excessive dryness, I also recommend using some moisturising medications.

How to clean the inside of the nose after nose surgery?
After the surgery, the nose should be washed regularly with nasal sprays. In this way, the inside of the nose will be cleaned from wound scabs and mucus. If there is dryness, you should take a chickpea-sized amount of the moisturising, softening ointment I recommend to you as your doctor and apply it into the nose with an ear stick (cotton swabs) and moisturise the inside of the nose. The ear stick (cotton swabs) should never be pushed deep into the nose.
When the inside of the nose softens, the nostrils should be cleaned with soft movements with an ear stick.
How to clean dried snot in the nose?
Regular nasal washing should be done to get rid of nasal congestion. Generally, washing both nostrils in the morning and evening is sufficient for nasal cleansing. If the nose is not cleaned at the desired level in these washes, the dried layers should be softened by using softening ointments and cleaned with a nasal aspirator or ear stick (cotton swabs).
